Versa-Fab partners with customers to design and manufacture products. We are an advanced manufacturing company specializing in precision machining and fabrication. Facility - Versa-Fab is conveniently located at 270 Hunt Valley Road in the Westmoreland Business and Research Park. Our southwestern PA location, just east of Pittsburgh, provides easy access to major highways. Newly constructed in 2007, our facility encompasses 50,000 square feet, with room to expand to 120,000 square feet.
Equipment - Versa-Fab implemented an equipment modernization program in recent years. Our latest addition was a class-leading 5'x10' Mitsubishi LVPlus 4,000w laser with complete material handling automation. Reinvestment in our equipment and a stringent preventive maintenance program have provided consistent uptime and improved asset utilization. This has benefitted the customer in shorter lead-times and consistent delivery performance. Please see the Capabilities page for a full listing of equipment.
Quality Systems - Versa-Fab maintains a robust Quality Assurance system. Our First Article Inspection (FAI), Engineering Change Notice (ECN), and shop-floor Quality Control procedures are central to our QA program. We leverage our systems, advanced technology and equipment, and skilled labor force to ensure excellent quality products and services for our customers.
Employees - Versa-Fab's office staff includes mechanical and electrical engineers for your design and engineering requirements. Our shop team is comprised of various skilled trades. Welders are certified to various AWS welding specifications. Machinists are required to have their journey papers, or are enrolled in school to achieve certification. Versa-Fab offers all employees an opportunity to continue their education through company-funded scholarship programs.
Customer - For over 20 years Versa-Fab has been supporting customers throughout North America and Europe. We have provided products and engineering services to many industries including: power generation and distribution, transportation, electronics, defense, food handling systems, glass, steel, coal, heavy equipment, etc. We've designed and manufactured enclosures, conveyor systems, consoles, structural frames, machined parts, electrical control panels, etc. Versa-Fab has lasting partnerships with many customers, with our products installed in locations throughout the world.
Suppliers - Versa-Fab is fortunate to have many first-rate suppliers supporting our operation. We view our suppliers as an extended part of the Versa-Fab team. We've had a successful partnership with many suppliers for many years. Our suppliers are critical in achieving our customer objective: deliver a quality product, on time, at a fair and competitive price.
Community - In order to be an industry leader, the company must be a leader in the community. We are proud to continuously support various charities and educational programs within our local community, including the Boy Scouts of America and local school science programs, among others.
